We have lived like all the Humanity the hard and difficult event of pandemic but, in one way or in another all of us, like women and Freemasons, we manage to go ahead with the work.
Today we celebrate one month from the elections, which we were able to conclude after patiently waiting a year, product of the capacity of adaptation and motivated by the General Good of the Order we managed to exercise our right to choose and be elected.
And this 2020 didn’t go in vain, we learned that there are «no times» but we were able to make worth the opportunity and the present moment.
My deep appreciation to each and every Dear Sisters who, from each of their territories, cast and sent their votes based on their convictions, accompanying the list they understood represented them as an institutional proposal.
To those who voted for us my thanks because they chose a project that today we come to continue, to deepen and to improve since it was born from the bowels of this diverse, plural and federal Grand Lodge that grows and grows nourished by hundreds of women of different idiosyncrasies, that with their tones of voice, their knowledge, their dreams add up as makers of a present that sows future in and for the female Freemasonry of our jurisdiction.
I would like to extend my thanks to the Dear Sisters who accompanied with their vote to the List «Freedom of Conscience», they will remind me that there is another look of thinking the Order and this always allows the possibility to ponder, to modify and to grow.
To the Immediate Past Grand Mistress and all her Council my deep appreciation and gratitude for the time, dedication, commitment, and for the internal and external growth of our beloved Grand Lodge that marks the
starting point of the current leadership.
I want to share with you that while the lack of the face-to face meeting was too much deeply felt, we saw how all the Dear Sisters, with more or less technology knowledge, were capable of making the Masonic egregore cross the screens like a torrential river.
It is the collective unconscious that shows true feelings and unites us in a strengthening embrace. We have the blessing of receiving and transmitting temperance in the midst of bewilderment. In the face of adversity the essence of Freemasonry embodied in each of us fortunately returns us to the path.
A new stage awaits us because there is a lot to do to continue growing, consolidating, sustaining and accompanying within and outside walls. Today’s society demands us to work in the search of consensus looking forward for greater justice, equity, tolerance, respect and integration for the welfare and dignity of the human beings.
From now onwards it’s established that a new group of Sisters assumes the leadership of the Grand Lodge and we all renew our institutional commitment with the brotherhood and with the ideas beyond the people and their personalities. We are convinced that the management’s achievement and success will be of all of us, because we will all join in the enlargement and well-being of the Institution, because no one left over and we need many more in the rows of women’s Freemasonry so that as agents of change we can contribute to building the better society for which we all aspire and for which we mobilize.
